Acoustic insulation

Sound insulation with Gypsum Blocks – economical, effective, up-to-date

The sound insulation between two rooms results from the installation situation of the adjacent components involved in the sound transmission. Partition walls made of Gypsum Blocks are largely immune to this sound transmission because their elastic wall connection effectively decouples them from the adjacent components. The technical basis for this decoupling is formed by edge connection strips, which form a building acoustic unit consisting of a partition wall, edge bearing optimised for joints and maximised direct and side insulation – both for partition walls in living rooms and for lightweight installation walls in bathrooms and toilets.
