Gypsum dry mortars EN 13279-1
Gypsum dry mortars are powdery building products based on gypsum and gypsum lime. They are used for plastering ceilings and walls – as has been proven in kitchens and bathrooms used at home in accordance with DIN 18550-2. Professionally executed interior plasters form flat, smooth component surfaces that are ideally suited for the application of tiles and wallpaper. They create a pleasant indoor climate by regulating the moisture content of the air and guarantee – especially in masonry construction – the airtightness of the building envelope. Depending on the formulation, MultiGips dry mortars perform technically more extensive tasks, e.g. as a hydrophobic plaster for the additional protection of surfaces exposed to splash water in showers and over baths, as a particularly stable adhesive plaster for the modernisation of existing walls and as a plaster with increased surface hardness in buildings frequented by the public, e.g. in schools, clinics, stairwells.
