Gypsum Blocks EN 12859
Gypsum Blocks are solid non-loadbearing interial constructional elements made of calcium sulphate and water. They are used to create space in residential and non-residential construction. The walls are solid as in masonry construction, but similar to dry construction, they are only executed with filled joints or surfaces. The virtually surface-ready components not only eliminate the cost and time estimates for plastering work, but also their space-reducing plaster thicknesses. Gypsum Blocks also offer high fire resistance (up to F 180-A) and, due to their acoustic decoupling from the supporting structure by elastic intermediate layers, state-of-the-art sound insulation.
