Gypsum Blocks are solid, block-shaped and dimensionally stable wall formers without cavities with a surrounding tongue and groove profile and highly smooth visible surfaces. They are produced as a castable and setable mixture of calcium sulphate and water in mould chambers and are technically dried. Gypsum Blocks from VG-ORTH comply with EN 12859, and according to their location in the building, components made of Gypsum Blocks are assigned to the room-forming interior walls. From a static point of view, they belong to the non-load-bearing constructions. They are used in residential and commercial construction for sound insulation and fire protection.
